ISO 5675 AG Quick Couplings

Pioneer (now belonged to Parker) specifies the connection size requirements. Now all brands of quick connectors on the market can be used interchangeably. For example, AKJia’s AG series, faster’s NV series, Stauff’s ID series, Parker 4000 series, Holmbury’s DINV series, etc. Because they can also use different valves, there are also two series: ball valves and needle valves.

To judge this type of quick connector, the most effective way is to measure two key dimensions. In the article on judging ISO A and ISO B, we mentioned the method of measuring the diameter of the first step. However, because this type of quick connector for agricultural machinery has some design dimensions of ISO A and ISO B applied during design. ISO A Quick Couplings

ISO A quick connectors are used on many tractors, especially 1/2″ size quick connectors are widely used in Europe. Especially the push-pull series. And the 1/2″ size ISO 5675 quick connector is interchangeable with the 1/2″ size ISO A quick connector. But only the 1/2″ size is interchangeable. Flat Face Quick Couplings

Most flat face quick connectors comply with ISO 16028 standards, with sizes ranging from 1/8″ to 2″. However, 1/8″ is not within the scope of ISO16028 standards. However, they are usually interchangeable between different manufacturers because the size of the connecting part is also unified. Tractor brands actually like to use flat quick connectors because the flat face quick connector is a no-spill design. During the disconnection process, the fluid loss is minimal.
